Thanks, Chad. I was not aware of the other Chromium program. Note that for commands in /usr/bin, the '/usr/bin' part is not necessary either to run program in terminal or as a .desktop launcher command (e.g. chrome-browser or chrome-browser http//www...)
That being said, I still think the issue needs addressing because Chromium-Browser (!!) is a core/important application, not an incidental one. There 2 possible solutions: 1) To change the title bar to say: "website... - Chromium-Browser" instead of "website... - Chromium" This would tell people the actual command... but would be ackward. 2) Rename Chromium-Browser to Chromel... as in Chrome Linux. Of course, renaming the app would cause a bit of trouble initially but correcting the problem is better than correcting it, especially that Chromium is an important app and that the recent and future success of Linux is very closely linked to the user-friendliness of the system. It is all those snags and inconsistencies, and things that do not work-- that regular users would not know how to fix--that really put people off.
