You're wrong: I never said it was not "dependant on the BIOS". I said
that this shows that an update of the BIOS is not needed to fix this
issue, which is very different.

Except they won't because it can damage the laptop, for almost no
benefit.

I never insisted on anything being done. I just don't want my bug to be
closed if it is not fixed. That's all.

As for the duplicate bugs, as long as this one stays "won't fix" for no
reason and that I can't change it, I'll have to create duplicates.
