I, too,  have the endless "Trust" / "Don't Trust" dialog problems as
stated in the original bug description and I cannot open the iPhone 5
(v7.0.4) data on an Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit system.  Also, in case you ask,
penalvch, I have ran "ubuntu-bug linux" in a terminal, which started
Apport for a bug report and then yells at me saying:

"[Title] Problem in linux-image-3.8.0-31-generic

"The problem cannot be reported:
This is not an official Ubuntu package. Please remove any third party package 
and try again."


But, I am running a Samsung Q430 laptop and my "uname -a" shows:

Linux [Computer Name] 3.8.0-31-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 10
20:03:44 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
