I was able to downgrade to the previous package: https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-dev/+archive/alsa- daily/+build/5361699/+files/oem-audio-hda-daily-lts-raring- dkms_0.201312181238%7Eubuntu12.04.1_all.deb
Which has put everything back as it was. I am also led to believe from this thread: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa- driver/+question/241165 that if i change to 3.10 kernel then the update from 23rd december would work, which makes me think that I should stick to the previous version for Raring. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242891 Title: [HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH, playback] Playback problem & LED problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1242891/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
