Me too.  This is the best desktop video capture I've used.
I've tried recordmydesktop, it produces buggy files that can't be edited.

There's nothing wrong with it.  It works,  it's simple, so no one needs to 
update it.
How does this rule work?  Do you remove every old piece of software that nobody 
is updating?

Here's a nice person who's given a link and info on how to get it working on 
later versions of ubuntu...
