Public bug reported: After then 20101020ubuntu136.14 update ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian- installer/20101020ubuntu136.14 ) hit precise-updates, I've been unable to install via the network.
I'm getting an error: 'No kernel modules were found. This is probably due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive.' Syslog reports 'WARNING **: no packages matching running kernel 3.2.0-58-generic in archive' Looking at /dists/precise-updates/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz, I don't actually see any kernel packages with 3.2.0-58 The highest version kernel I see is 'linux-image-3.2.0-57-generic'. This seems like a problem, and I don't see how the installer is supposed to work given that the kernel files are missing. ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1264333 Title: Cannot install with 20101020ubuntu136.14 installer update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1264333/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
