Having spent 5 minutes learning about notify-osd and then 6 hours trying to figure out what the problem was and finally coming across this, it's appearent there is a dichotomous debate over this timeout issue.
I'm not sure if it's already mentioned before, but isn't there a way for the user to set the server to recognize timeouts? At least this way we don't have the fork and hack the code just to make a new notify-osd- that-recognizes-timeout. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390508 Title: notifyOSD ignores the expire timeout parameter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/390508/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
