Thank you, Christopher. I updated the BIOS and the output of the listed
commands shows the following:

Unfortunately, hibernation still doesn't work: suspending works fine,
and running sudo pm-hibernate seems to put the laptop to sleep
correctly, but after powering it on again, a disk check is performed and
the previos session is not restored.
