Sorry for not replying earlier but I actually got this working eventually. I'm on version: $ NetworkManager --version 0.9.8.0
I do have dns=dnsmasq now and it's working if I set the Method to "Addresses only", manually specify the DNS servers and search domain. No issues anymore.
