Public bug reported:
with a Gforce 8 series graphics card the screen blanks and returns "out
of sync" while booting, once into Xorg the screen comes up fine. I took
out the commands "quiet splash" from the grub file and this was still
the case, loading in recovery mode works fine. I did not try to set the
Kernel up using the 7 Series card I have.
