Public bug reported: After a fresh install, when running Geany it starts with a dialog stating
"Configuration directory could not be created (Permission denied). There could be some problems using Geany without a configuration directory. Start Geany anyway?" When looking at the properties of /home/.config/geany it shows the folder is owned by root, when it should be owned by my user. Changing ownership fixes the problem.
