Hear Hear! Been using this patch for quite some time now, so big thanks for maintaining sanity for the desktop people.
However this previously working functionality is still spiralling in a downward direction. QT applications no longer show up in the systray and I've never had sni-qt work at all. Trying not to re-iterate what has largely already been said here regarding the amateurish breaking of applications that use the Linux DE standard systray (including nautilus file copy).
