Public bug reported: The man page of vgetty says: vgetty is not meant to be run from the command line. It should be run from the /etc/inittab file so it can respawn after each call. Here is a typical inittab entry:
S0:345:respawn:/usr/sbin/vgetty ttyS0 But no inittab found in Ubuntu 12.04. So no respawn when a phone call is received. Conclusion: Only one phone-call reception. After that, the program ends. Please install mgetty-voice correctly.
