Thanks for the clarification. Yes, this is indeed one incarnation of bug
#915250. I can reproduce it with 0.99.0 and docking enabled. Onboard
ends up below Dash and Dash closes on click.
Docking is supposed to imply force-to-top on Compiz, and only there. The
problem was, that the window manager detection broke at some point
during the Saucy cycle. Trunk has had a fix for this for a while, but
Saucy's 0.99.0 is still affected.
I 'll ask Francesco to add current trunk to our snapshot PPA. If you
can, please test it from there and let us know how it goes.
