well I guess leave as is & see how it plays out over the next 5 months. Hopefully a dual fix will arise.
While i don't think one can make any absolute judgement on users affected by a bug report, dupes, number affected, ppa use, ect., it does seem many more are affected by the current fix then orig bug.
