Specification updated. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityAndPrivacySettings?action=diff&rev2=34&rev1=33>
** Description changed: - Hi - My SIM unlock PIN is 5 digits; when I type the 4th one, it's immediately sent to the SIM. I haven't retried since I fear locking it for good. I have seen some code allowing up to 16 digits for SIM PIN and a couple of docs mentioning 8 digits for SIM PIN and PUK. I think we should allow 8 digits. - Thanks, + <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SecurityAndPrivacySettings#SIM_PIN>: "The + 'Lock' button in the 'Enter Previous PIN' dialog, and the 'Change' + button in the 'Change SIM PIN' dialog, should be insensitive whenever + any PIN field contains fewer than four or more than eight digits (the + GSM PIN bounds)." -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1240561 Title: SIM unlock doesn't accept 5 digits PIN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity8/+bug/1240561/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
