Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

I've been using pidgin just fine with gmail notification in the gtalk
account. It's been ok with really light volume. 1/2 messages at a time.

I started getting a new high volume mailing list and every time I
launched pidgin it would core dump on me.

I started it with -n to prevent it from logging in and turned off
checking of my gmail in the gtalk account and now it stays running
stable again.

Here's sample output while running pidgin -d with the gmail checks running
(09:45:27) dbus: Need to register an object with the dbus subsystem. (If you
