Here the problem is worse. My first try, before reading this thread, was to remove flashplugin. Then I got another error in the prerm script as well. Then I edited both script files (prerm and postinst), removing all those strange chars. But the prerm is still broken. I get the error message: /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.prerm: line 30: syntax error near unexpected token `;;'
Apparently apt tries to remove the package, before reinstalling it. I've already looked into the script file, but found nothing near that line different from the rest. Well, I'm not a shell script programmer... Can anyone help me? Thanks. -- package flashplugin-nonfree 9.0.48.0.0ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131865 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
