Public bug reported: Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 using rhythmbox 2.99.1-0ubuntu1
I opened rhythmbox and I expected the gui to show up normally. Instead the gui didn't show up, but the icon had a and arrow on its left in Unity. I pressed the play button of my keyboard to check how it goes and the music start to play in rhythmbox. Then I opened the gnome- terminal and typed rhythmbox and valited it didn't opened up another instance but it actually showed the gui interface. So this is the only way I found to fix it.
