It is rather a missing feature.
After some research on configuring the Samsung YP-U3, it seems the only thing 
to do is to add those lines in the files 
$ /etc/udev/rules.d/libmtp.rules

#Samsung YP-U3
SYSFS{idVendor}=="04e8", SYSFS{idProduct}=="507d", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k", 
MODE="666"

However, that allows only amarok to see the device.

I tried to find a way of mounting it like a regular usb stick, without
success.

PS : is it the place for such a post ?
