Public bug reported: It is rather a missing feature. After some research on configuring the Samsung YP-U3, it seems the only thing to do is to add those lines in the files $ /etc/udev/rules.d/libmtp.rules
#Samsung YP-U3 SYSFS{idVendor}=="04e8", SYSFS{idProduct}=="507d", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k", MODE="666" However, that allows only amarok to see the device. I tried to find a way of mounting it like a regular usb stick, without success.
