Public bug reported: Currently if one uses the BOINC Manager GUI and uses the file > exit command the BOINC Manager GUI exits and it also shuts down the BOINC Core Client. Relaunching the BOINC Manager GUI only relaunches the BOINC Manager GUI and does not check or try to launch the BOINC Core Client if it is not currently operating. This means that unless you use the command line or reboot your computer you cannot relaunch the BOINC Core Client.
Expected behavior: If the BOINC Manager is launched and the BOINC Core Client is not in operation that the action of launching the BOINC Manager GUI also starts the BOINC Core Client. If the BOINC Manager GUI is launched and the BOINC Core Client is operating display the projects, tasks, etc as designed. This ensures that the BOINC Manager doesn't open to be blank and appear not working for users unaware that the BOINC Core Client is what also needs to launch to have the processing happen. This function helps make BOINC more user friendly and usable to those avoiding the command line.
