Ok, so if I understand this correctly, when you right-click on a file and choose "properties", Naautilus hangs/freezes and eventually crashes? An when you restart it, it works again (can you open preferences?).
What version of ubuntu, gnome, nautilus, etc do you use? Happens to all files? Do you have them in your home, and on the root filesystem? Do you know if the problem does still exist on the latest Gutsy-alpha? Can you please run this, make it crash and attach the output, please: G_DEBUG=fatal_criticals nautilus Also, follow the steps in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace and attach the resulting file, please. Thank you. -- freeze on right click > Properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120452 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
