Okay, I've had a look at the kmilo code. It seems the OSD is configurable through skins, however the choice of the skin is hardcoded. A possibility would be: - implement several skins (for now there is only one in the kmilo code base, I guess the skin used in Kubuntu simply replaces the default skin of kmilo) - add a configuration module for kmilo where one can choose the skin; that module would be available from the KDE system settings window.
I can do that, but I would like to know if it would be welcome by the kubuntu maintainers; otherwise I'll just compile another skin and replace kmilo on my own box, without creating a config module. -- Kubuntu Gutsy: Volume OSD is too small https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/130253 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
