This behavior (fans spinning on suspend, power off after a minute) is consistently reproducible at least back to 3.11.0-4. I definitely did not experience this problem while 3.11.0-4 was current. So it looks like something else may have changed to cause this bug.
I am able to reproduce the failure even by running pm-suspend manually from the console (VT1). I normally run thinkfan, but I've disabled it in the startup and changed the module options to disallow fan control; none of these changes make any difference, the failure is consistently reproducible (at this point, approximately 100% of the time). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1228406 Title: [LENOVO 3249CTO] suspend/resume failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1228406/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
