Please test in Feisty Fawn kernel 262016 desktop (no laptop): usb canon lide 25 together with usb samsung laserprinter ML-1610 (both usb 1.1)
scanner is there, xsane finds device immediately printer when added with system, administration, printers is detected immediately and perfectly full name of the printer at USB#1, all fine... pick driver ML1610 from the list... then what? (black screen story, then with scanbuttond white screen with "vertical stripes computer code in vague colour") (????) printer: red light on "On Line / Error"...
