Public bug reported: With Saucy, Google Chrome and Chromium are prone to display corruption.
Intel chipsets seem to be the most common complaints. I see something similar on Nvidia+nouveau, but I'm not sure it's the same problem. In browser "about:flags", turning options off that mention compositing and GPU does not seem to help, though I would like more confirmation of this. It could be some interaction with the compositing manager in Ubuntu. It's not a display-only problem, as screenshots do capture it. ** Affects: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Chad Miller (cmiller) Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Chad Miller (cmiller) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1235490 Title: chrome/chromium tearing and display corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1235490/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
