I tried this feature today, out of curiosity, and found it didn't work. Fortunately, I found this question on askubuntu (asked and answered today): http://askubuntu.com/questions/352658/remote-login-from-the- greeter-not-working
In short, there is one required package that is not installed by default (python3-pycurl). So, just "sudo apt-get install python3-pycurl" and it should work. I tried to login "remotely" to my PC and the login error went away. Maybe the package of this feature (which is, I suppose, lightdm-remote- session-freerdp) should depend on python3-pycurl? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181772 Title: Remote login will not recognise email and password even when correct.
