Alberto, the bug is still there. No grub-efi package listed in <http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/current/saucy-desktop- amd64.list>. Whoever has the power to make the change should include grub-efi on the image to allow for offline-installation as well as installation on devices whose network cards are not supported. The fact that the kernel has added support for the specific network device in my case is not a solution for the bug.
