The current Ubuntu daily still does it (kernel 3.11.0.7) and it's installer is broken so I am unable to test a new kernel with it.
I tried to change more BIOS settings, but nothing seems to make any difference. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help fix this, but I'll keep testing updates every now and then in hopes someone fixes it while working on other code.
