I just installed Ubuntu 12.04.3
The first time I checked the synaptic package manager, these headers were
already installed.
linux-headers-3.8.0-29-generic
linux-headers-3.8.0-29
I used synaptic to install:
build-essential (11.5ubuntu2.1)
virtualbox-dkms (4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3)
virtualbox (4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.3)
During the installation of virtualbox-dkms, the following appeared:
