Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce:
1. Flash the latest daily current to Nexus 4 2. Launch the pre installed Calculator app 3. Launch the web browser app and tap on URL field to bring the OSK 4. Now ssh to the device and kill the browser application e.g. using kill -9 5. Observe that OSK doesn't close after the application closed/killed/crashed. 6. Also observe that if calculator application is not launched and running in background then OSK will disappear on killing the web browser app. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: ubuntu-keyboard 0.99.trunk.phablet2+13.10.20130912-0ubuntu1 Uname: Linux 3.4.0-3-mako armv7l ApportVersion: 2.12.1-0ubuntu4 Architecture: armhf Date: Thu Sep 19 14:11:29 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-09-17 (1 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch) - armhf (20130917.1) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: TERM=linux PATH=(custom, no user) SourcePackage: ubuntu-keyboard UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: ubuntu-keyboard (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: qa-touch touch-needs-autopilot -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1227714 Title: OSK doesn't close after the application closes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-keyboard/+bug/1227714/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
