At the moment I don't have a mako device, so I can't reproduce this bug.

My current hypothesis is that on mako the screen resolution and the
camera resolution are different, and they are different in a way that
requires the camera image to be centered horizontally in the screen, and
there's a bug in the centering code.

On maguro they are different too but the centering has to happen
vertically, which is probably why the bug hasn't been uncovered yet.
