It did not, not exactly this one. In raring there was a black screen on resume, fixed by adding --quirk-vbemode-restore to pm-suspend parameters, or by switching to tty1 and then back to 7, or by logging current user off. Although the screen was black (turned off completely) the system was running properly, so I was able to blindly control it, or connect to it using ssh. In saucy it crashes completely, but not always (i would say almost half the time). I tested it with and without the quirk getting the same results.
