Bug is still there in 10.04. I made sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade after a reboot the system hangs on /scripts/init-bottom at [ 6.9965525] sd 10:0:0:3: [sde] Attached SCSI removable disk
the above line changes if I plug other USB devices but the error is the same If I insert a USB disk or SD card in the reader after the hangs the system shows additional lines identifying the device, so the system is not freezed but is waiting for what???? I don't know what is waiting for but suspect something stop the shell loading. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578146 Title: Ubuntu 10.04 : System hangs after SCSI probing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/578146/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
