I can reproduce the same problem here on up-to-date Edgy, i686. Saving the file
results in the segmentation fault.
I attach the backtrace and the output from Valgrind. What is interesting it
that if I run OpenOffice from within Valgrind, the crash doesn't occur and it
saves the file properly.
