Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdm
Using rdesktop and my KDM keeps crashing and kicking me out to the login window. I have an nvidia 5200 with the nvidia drivers installed. This seems to happen when I have rdesktop open to a client as well as an ssh session open, but i really cannot be sure that these are related or not. I am aware of the TV-out issue in the kdm.log below but I don't think that it is related. I am willing to run tests if asked! /var/log/kdm.log below: SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled SetClientVersion: 0 9 SetGrabKeysState - disabled SetGrabKeysState - enabled FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.
