Public bug reported:
The display of notifications shown when a track starts playing doesn't
keep up when "selecting the next song" repeatedly. So, if one makes
several selections in a rapid order, the notification display goes
slowly through each selection with the effect that it takes a while
before the notification contains the details of the currently playing
song. Depending on the number of rapid selections this can take minutes.
This isn't helped by the fact that the notifications appear three times,
which is unnecessary.
