Hi Joseph. I will double check for you, but my suggestion is no, for the following reason. I re-did the LiveCD with uck and with the Ubuntu Saucy ISO. uck gets you to a customization terminal, and I verified what was in /boot before and after attempting install of your .deb packages, and saw nothing change in /boot. While I can do dpkg-query -l | grep (your package names) and it looks to be installed, it does not look to have updated some files. Should I be seeing your kernel updates in /boot, because I am not seeing that happen.
