Yes, I have the problem with the final version, and its not only a mouse issue, ps/2 keyboard doesn't work either. I think its a kernel (or kernel configuration) problem, its like the computer doesn't have ps/2 ports. I have tried with live-CDs and both mouse and keyboard works correctly, as in previous versions of Ubuntu. Now I use USB mouse and keyboard. If I can provide some other helpful information please tell me how to get it. The attached file HWDebugPS2.tgz contains the DebuggingHardwareDetection info and the X log.
