Christopher, I am quite happy with my 12.04 and want to use it as "long Time Stable". I think also 12.04 should be supported carefully.
My intention was, as you know, to give you some information related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1167669 which is the same as Bug 1208132 to my mind. As I said: Something changed between Kernel 3.2.0.39 and 3.2.0.40. I would be happy to help fixing the bug in 12.04 and can do whatever test you want me to do.
