I simply confirm that the Bug of a failure during the installing of ttf-mscorefonts, is still present at this date July 2013, and present for both the Ubuntu 32-bit release 12.04LTS and 32-bit Studio 12.04LTS release. In this bug report; https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/994125 the Bug report is changed to Status "Invalid". I feel this is wrong, as there is no clear solution to this Installation failure.
