Duplicity should apparently use NcFTP for ftp transfer it doesn't because if i uninstall NcFTP i should receive "NcFTP not found: Please install NcFTP version 3.1.9 or later" but it doesn't. According what i can read in the logfile duplixity is called with -- gio and according to documentation its forces the use of giobackend and it uses the "gvfs daemons"
