Without Fedora: 4s
With Fedora: 252s

After 4 seconds, I've got this output
Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-4-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.10.0-4-generic
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-2-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.10.0-2-generic
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10.0-1-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.10.0-1-generic
Found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+.bin

and after 252 seconds
Found Fedora release 20 (Rawhide) on /dev/sda3
done

Situation is same with Ubuntu 13.04 and Fedora 19. It's single core Intel Atom
CPU (with HT), 2GB RAM and classic HDD.
I can do further testing on different machines if necessary.
