I don't think this is a software related problem but hardware one. I've been running Windows on my ZenBook lately, and this problem occurs with Windows too. Usually I see it when the laptop is running hot and I try to plug or unplug the power adapter, but I can see it sometimes too when I've just restarted the laptop.
And for me this has gotten more common lately. It's not a problem with battery running old, because battery can hold power about 4 hours. I'm not familiar how switching between power adapter and battery modes work, but could it be a problem with capacitors? Anyway, I'm taking my laptop to retailer for a repair. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/989191 Title: Asus Zenbook UX31E powers off on plugin in/out AC adapter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/989191/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
