If possible, I would very much like to try to re-create the problems detailed herein on my computer. While I have had issues with the driver, I have not experienced the issues of the original post. I have been testing and giving feedback for the intel pstate driver for over a month. I agree that is was premature to make it the default cpu scaling driver. I am not aware of any issues with the proposed patch (not committed yet, as far as I know) of the below referenced bugzilla report.
