BTW, I noticed that even with the patch ps doesn't show all supplementary groups. For example,
root@mtdedicated:~# su - user1 -c 'grep Groups: /proc/self/status | wc' No directory, logging in with HOME=/ 1 482 2414 root@mtdedicated:~# su - user1 -c 'ps -e -o tid, supgid --sort supgid | grep 1049 | head -1 | wc' No directory, logging in with HOME=/ 1 48 242 Anyway, I'm pinging upstream just now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1150413 Title: Cannot allocate memory if process owned by user with large number of groups To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/procps/+bug/1150413/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
