Public bug reported:
Ubuntu has my hda intel sound card listed, but will not show it in gnome. If I
log out of the system and check my bios, it plays fine. I suspect there is a
code glitch in module. Tried to boot up from Ubuntu live cd, all it did was
reset my sound settings, but will not "see" the sound card.
