Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Would it be possible for you to make the encrypted pdf file (or a similar pdf file with the same problems) including password available for testing and debugging? Depending on its size, you can attach the pdf file to this report, or upload it to a webspace and provide the link to it. If the file is not for the public, you can also send it to me directly (see https://launchpad.net/~johfel for details including GPG key). If this is not possible at all, it it still be helpful, if you can provide more information about the pdf file. Especially, it would be interesting which program generated/encrypted it and the pdf version and the encryption method which were used. Does the password contain uncommon characters (spaces, diacritics, ...)? ** Changed in: pdftk (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: pdftk (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Johann Felix Soden (johfel) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1191381 Title: pdftk password decryption doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pdftk/+bug/1191381/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
