I also suffered from this bug, but managed to solve it by manually fixing all the libGL.so symlinks in /usr/lib (and lib32) to point to the libGL.so in the nvidia-current subdirectory. After this, I re-installed nvidia-current using: sudo apt-get install --reinstall nvidia-current You can check your own libGL.so symlinks using: ls -l `find /usr | grep libGL.so`
