This bug is also true for MacBook Pro v2 laptops (from november 2006). The wireless adapter is not supported by the current stable version of the madwifi-ng driver. However it is supported in svn since april 2007. I have been compiling the driver from SVN since then it works great.
Maybe you could include, alongside with the current stable release a SVN snapshot of the driver in Gutsy, which the user can EXPLICITLY choose to use instead of the stable one ? -- [Gutsy Tribe 2] Wireless adapter not detected on MacBook Pro rev.3 (santa rosa) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
